In pursuit of happiness ♥

saw sth interesting today on the newspapers!

tday's younger generation tend to be less happy then their parents and grandparents
but do you know that positivity can be inculcated? (:

omg it's so awesome right?
like an antidote to all sadness in the world
but of course, it requires quite a bit of acceptance and pro-activeness!

so then the newspaper carried on being GP-ish (haha!) by quoting evidence from an Australian documentary "8 Weeks to Happiness" in which they had 8 volunteers, who had happiness levels that are below the avg man in Aussie!
The volunteers were made to practice Mindfulness, Gratitude and Altruism!
The results? all of them raised their happiness levels by a weetle bit!
haha but still nubbad right, + a little here + a little there = a lot! :)

Then there's this part which said that these actions "raises and sustains a giver's happiness beyond the act for far longer than one would expect"

SO EVERYONE SHOULD BE NICE TO EACH OTHER
AND SAY NICE THINGS TO EACH OTHER
AND DO LIL THINGS TO HELP ONE ANOTHER
then everyone will be happy! :)

haha okay so i was more pro-active at being nice tday after reading the article and nubbad la, little little bit of happiness, 'cause you know you made a small positive difference in someone's life :)
